I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use my Duplicate Master addin at this EE article, http://www.experts-exchange.com/A_2123.html

to delete either,
- just the cells (erasing contents)
- the entire row

Pls provide a sample file if you need further help

Cheers
Dave

Hello jtran

In Excel 2007 highlight your data table and click Remove Duplicates on the Data ribbon.

In Excel 2003, highlight your data table, click Data - Filter - Advanced Filter - tick "Unique records only" - OK. Then with the selection still highlighted hit F5 - Special - Visible cells only - OK - Copy the selection,  and paste somewhere else.

cheers, teylyn
