I am attempting to create a container in Virtuozzo, when I assign the IP Address 70.87.134.60 to this container the IP stays with the actual node and shows PIM login when going to it. Even during SSH it is trying to SSH into the entire server not simply the container as it should.

I have already created one with the IP address 70.87.134.61 that works perfectly fine and I am having no problems with at all.

I have tried to delete it and re add, changed IP address etc but nothing is doing it, anyone here have any suggestions?

Your IP address may conflict with other machines. If your virtual machine is down, can you ping it?
If yes  and you need to locate  this machine run 'arp -an'
If no - check config files in /etc/vz/ with your virtual machine ID and look inside (IP should be there).

Had to ask another source for actual example on how to edit /etc/vz.
