vb.net 2005 postbuildevent
I'm making a service in vb.net (vs 2005) and an installer package.
At the end of the day I wish to have my installer package install my service as well as install another program... let's say program ABC.
Using the FileSystem view I included the ABC setup file to be dropped in my target folder.
Can I use the postbuildevent to trigger the installation of program ABC during the service installation process?
If not, is there a way to do this.
My goal is to get program ABC installed without invoking another UAC prompt. Since the user already has to "allow" my service to install I'd like to make the install of program ABC utilize that same "allow" session.
