Linksys SPA942 IP Phone configuration.
I have configured linsys spa942 ip phonewith all the details like server ip and other details successfully. But now after completing all the things not able to call or receive any call and instead of green LED orange LED lights are coming. Please suggest me.

Thanks for your reply.. as I'm new to these kinds of things becas our IPT server guy used to do this before. I have done all the things whtever you suggested including ext1,proxy,subscriber etc.. but before also the same msg used to come and i used to call IPT guy he used to resolve means i think administrator login I have the administrator PW. I think it's a simple enabling something.

What type of Asterisk install is it - Trixbox/FreePBX/From source?
Have you created an extension/sip peer definition on Asterisk?
What is shown when you enter the Asterisk CLI command "sip show peers"
Is the SPA942 on the same LAN as the PBX or is it a remote phone connecting via the Internet through NAT?
Using the web interface to the SPA942, does the Info page show that the phone is registered or not? Please post back here the parameter settings you have on the "Ext 1" page for the following:
Proxy and Registration
Subscriber Information
(replace any sensitive information such as password with dummy values)
