Detach, rename and attach database - SQL Server 2000

I want to make sure this is correct. I have a database on a server that I want to rename both the database and the physical files that make it up.
1) Detach the database.
2) Rename the files.
3) Attach the database with the new database name and referencing the renamed files.

Correct?
