Is there a way to turn off HTC dimaond Pro Wi-fi when it start up ? My wi-fi connection is turned on automatically when it restarts again, even though I have turned it off.

On my machine (Thinkpad), WiFi will start unless:
1. It is disabled (Not desirable).
2. A working ethernet cable is plugged in.
3. The physical switch is OFF (not all laptops have this).

So unless you have a physical switch, it will probably come on if it can. You can limit whether it works by deleting all by necessry and secured profiles. ... Thinkpads_User

Sorry, I'm talking about my HTC mobile, not the thinkpad laptop.

Thanks

I was not sure what you were using, so I was just using an example.

Even a mobile should have profiles of some description, so delete unused, extraneous ones. And then I guess from your reply there is no physical switch to turn off WiFi. ... Thinkpads_User

No, I have setup any profile on the window mobile. And there is a "software button" that could turn off the Wi-Fi. But it will turn on automatically when the window mobile turn on. Any advise ?

Thanks

I use an optional piece of software called SPB Phone Suite which allows you to setup profiles and can control the behaviour of your Wi-Fi amongst other things.  You may get more success with this.
