Use .folders, and repeat down through the structure for a sub folder of fldr

Dim fldr As Outlook.MAPIFolder
Set fldr = OlApp.GetNamespace("Mapi").GetDefaultFolder(olFolderInbox).folders("followup")

Open in new window

fldrs points to inbox\followup and using either

sub = fldrs.folders("fred") OR
sub = inbox.folders("followup").folders("fred") OR
sub = OlApp.GetNamespace("Mapi").GetDefaultFolder(olFolderInbox).folders("followup").folders("fred")

after any of the above sub will point to
