Paint Shop Pro X2 Scripting - file name for batch of files to export?

I need to process a batch of files in Paint Shop Pro X2. For each file, I need to export the file as a jpg using a compression value of 25 and save it to a particular directory.

I know how to record the script and execute it via the batch processing menu. However, because the export process has its own file save as dialog, the file name gets hardcoded in the script and only a single file gets written. Each file overwrites the one before.

I could edit the script but I haven't found a reference manual to tell me how to create a variable for the exported filename based on the source filename.

Alternatively, I know batch processing lets you modify the target filename but I don't know how to get the export options without going through its file save as dialog.

Any suggestions?

I found the answer. Just use batch processing and Save as New Type set to JPEG. Then set the jpg options for that type to be the desired compression value.
