Exchange 2007 Error #571 BADDNS

Hello,
One of our clients are getting a bounce back from an organization in which they deal with. The bounce back states:

server.somewhere.com #571 Reputation Violation for User e-mail@address.com (BADDNS)

It's the receiving server that is rejecting it, what needs to be changed on the sending server?

Thanks in advance!

Some of the Authentication mechanism for email servers is to do what is called "Reverse DNS Lookup", just like making ping -a and compare DNS record by FQDN to name returned by Reverse Lookup for the IP,
so
ping server.somewhere.com
and ping -a  x.x.x.x (your server IP)
should match
0

Hi,

Go to http://www.mxtoolbox.com/ and perfom below tests:

a. DNS Lookup
b. MX Lookup
c. Blacklists

I hope this helps,
