nasirbest,

Please provide some more details on what you are trying to accomplish?  Why do you require writing a macro without the GUI?  Are you wanting some sort of script that can perform an action on an OOo doc without OOo?  Are you needing to write a macro for a user to run within OOo?  I need a few more details.  You can write code in vb.net or C#.net to take actions on OOo files, but it takes some work and is not that clean.  Also, this would not show as a macro in OOo for an end user.  Again I need some details as really by definition an macro requires the GUI.

I want to setup an "office docs to pdf" conversion service. sirocco87@EE has suggested me following link.

http://www.togaware.com/linux/survivor/Convert_MS_Word.html

this link show me that how can I

1. create a macro from "GUI"
2. how to convert office doc from shell

what I want

1. how to create a macro from "shell / command line"

The command line requires that open office be installed on the machine.  Since OOo is free, why not just install it and create you macro through the GUI?  Once the macro is created, you can then run it from the command line as the link you have shows.

There is not going to be a way to create the macro outside the GUI.  Are you ultimately looking to have a command line PDF converter?  IF so there is other software out there that may be a better fit.
