Need to view and copy files from a .bkf Seagate backup

Hey all!, I had an unexpected crash due to Rtvscan hogging resources, and when I tried to delete some strings in the registry in corrupted windows and would not reboot. I did have a backup of my computer with the .bkf extension on a small Seagate external drive. Is there any way to read the files from the backup and copy them to my newly formatted computer? A reader of sorts, I am searching around, and did some looking on EE but I may be looking in the wrong places. I would have done a restore but I was afraid I would run into the same problems of Rtvscan causing massive slowdowns making my box unusable

Free evaluation version of backup file (.bkf) reader:

http://www.openbkf.com/

You should be able to use this to extract only the files you want from the backup.

It worked for the most part. It didnt work another time. Its hit or miss I guess. Look around, there maybe a more reliable solution if needed.
