Clone a disk onto external hard drive

In our factory there are PC's that I would like to clone the disks incase disk fails or windows crashes etc.  The data doesnt change much on them.

What is the best method to clone the disks with these limitations
1. would rather not install any softare.  Would like to boot via CD to an application.
2.  Want to be able to save image on ext USb drive so that I dont have to get into the PC

have the ability then to move that image onto a hard drive using another computer

What is best software to use for this? Doesnt need to be inexpensive - this is an enterprise environment

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

An alternative is http://clonezilla.org/ and it is free. It has a live CD so no install, and you can put the image on disc or USB drive.

please note:
clonezilla is a distribution not an app that can be installed in another distribution:
From the Clonezilla home page:
...Two types of Clonezilla are available, Clonezilla live and
Clonezilla SE (server edition). Clonezilla live is suitable for single machine backup and restore...

clonezilla supports ext4:
From the Clonezilla home page:
...Filesystem supported: ext2, ext3, ext4, reiserfs, xfs, jfs of
GNU/Linux, FAT, NTFS of MS Windows, and HFS+ of Mac OS...

... i use them in my office they are great tools, clonezilla http://clonezilla.org/ (OpenSource)  and  acronis(Commercial)  http://www.acronis.com/  again clonezilla is a good software package, and if you have in your data center any linux system then use http://www.mondorescue.org/

I couldn't find such license at their site. Most offered solutions are Backup & Recovery and Snap Deploy.
You can use Backup & Recovery but the price is too high for several licenses when compared with single tech license by Drive Backup 10.
