Multiple episodes with Handbrake

How do I record all episodes of a TV show using Handbrake?  It shows multiple chapters and will record all but those are only from the first episode.  It doesn't seem to recognize when there are multiple episodes.

I have burned the DVD to hard disk.  I point Handbrake to that location and it picks up the DVD files.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If the makers of the DVD separated the episodes into individual titles on the disc (which is the norm), then you will find the episodes by clicking the dropdown next to "Title" on the main screen. There may be other items there -- the episodes are the ones that are about 23 minutes or 42 minutes (depending on whether the show was 30 minutes with commercials or 60 minutes with commercials).

To extract multiple episodes, click one of the desired titles, adjust any settings you want, and click Add to Queue. Repeat for the other episodes. When you've added them all, click Show Queue and then Encode.

If, instead of individual titles of the appropriate length, you see only a much longer title, then the maker of that DVD put all of the episodes into a single title, and there's no way for Handbrake to figure out where one episode ends and the next one begins.
