Are you using hardware raid or software raid?

With hardware raid, the default is usually set up so that when a failed disk is removed and a new one is put in it's place, then a rebuild is scheduled immediately. If this does not happen, go to whatever configuration software you have, and then tell it to rebuild the RAID.  Sometimes this will be called a  "rebuild" since you did not post anything about the raid controller, or even if hardware or software raid .. then refer to the online manual for your RAID card

i use hardware raid
ok, then check the failed disk ID on the raid monitor software and then replace this disk, and the raid must be rebuilded. If that not appned, you must mannualy add the disk.
