Ghost Error EC8F1772 Symantec Imaging.Imager

Ghost runs automatically every night. Today it did not run and is displaying this error:
The following  component is not installed correctly: Symantec Imaging.Imager
Ghost cannot create recovery points. What does it mean and how to I fix it?

As I don't use any symantec products, I can't give you any specific info on this particular error, but from the type of message you get I'd first reinstall the software. If after that you still get the same error message, make sure your disks have enough empty space left. If the recovery points can't be made it is possible that the drives are full.

I was considering either reinstalling Ghost or running a diagnostic of my hard drives. At this moment, Ghost successfully created a new image the next day. I won't do anything with Ghost, but I'll run the drive diagnostics.

The expert admitted he didn't know anything about Ghost, but he did respond with a well known suggestion.
