Hi,

How can we find if a GPO is not being used. Can we find its not assigned to any OU.?
Can i know the steps how to find this.

Hello,

If you launch Group Policy Management Console (You can download from here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0a6d4c24-8cbd-4b35-9272-dd3cbfc81887&displaylang=en)

Take a look at your OU's to see where the GPO is assigned to you will have to check each OU also under group policy objects in the management console locate and click on the group policy in question and and then click on settings to see what it does

You can also run gpresult on a workstation / server but the above method will be the easiest
