I was wondering if there were any good ways or systems for managing incident handling from alerts in Nagios? All good sources and tips are appreciated.

Hi,

nagios can send emails on alerts, and some help desk systems can create tickets from emails,

e.g. mojo - http://www.mojowiki.metadot.net/faqs/creating-tickets-from-email

or whups - http://www.horde.org/whups/docs/?f=INSTALL.html

or RT - http://bestpractical.com/rt/features.html

or maybe otrs - http://otrs.org/
