Which motherboard for IBM T60

Hi everybody

I have an IBM T60 - (2007-F2G)
I bought it on a flee market.
I need a new motherboard for it, since i dont have the bias password.
I've seen some for sale on ebay, but will all T60's motherboards work, or do i need a special one. I mean, is there different kinds og T60's with different MOBO's?

Any help would be appreciated..
Thanx.

There are different ones and you can't trust the descriptions on ebay to be correct. Find the FRU number on the board (in the memory compartment?) and go by that.

On the bottom of your laptop you will see (or should see) a printed area staing Type. As an example, this will read 6457-CTO
Go to Lenovo's website and enter this information. From there you can obtain compatible part numbers and replacements.
www.lenovo.com
On the front page of their site select "Support" and then "Product Information".
On the next page you will see an area to enter your product number. Upper right side of this page.
Enter the four digits and letter combination from your system.
