Microsoft Office One Note links not working

In one note when you past a link, you can then click on it and opens a browser page. This has worked fine until today. Now when i click on a link i get the following error message. "Unable to open http://(website).Cannot download the information you requested."

Haven't installed any new software, am using Firefox as my default browser.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I use that feature and it works fine. Several things to get started:
1. Does the link work with Internet Explorer?
2. Check the security settings in the browser (return security to default).
3. Check that (in IE or comparable) automatic connections and proxies are not checked on.
4. Consider uninstalling, restarting, and re-installing OneNote.
