SSIS Sequence Container

Guys,

I need your help in understanding this. I have created a SSIS package which includes a sequence container which includes two DFTs (see the attched doc). On execution when one DFT fails the Sequence container does not show failure but the parent package shows the failure from where it was called. Can you please help me understand this.. what should I do to make it fail if any of the DFTs fail...

Thanks for help..

On the properties on the seq. container, do you have the FailPackageOnFailure and the FailParentOnFailure both set to True?

Just made the change and tested. It is still the same...

In that case, I am not sure that a sequence container actually can be made to "fail" in your situation.

Ok, I got the problem resolved. Somehow the DFT's got delinked from the Sequence container, so I recreated another container, moved the DFTs to the new one and removed the old container. Tested and it worked.. :)
