How to add to Favorites Bar through Group Policy?

I have two (probably simple) group policy settings question. How do I add a Link in the Favorites Bar (not menu) in IE8 using Group Policy?

Also, I need to add 2 sites to the compatability mode list and would rather not go to each station to do this. Can this be done using GP? If not, does anyone know how to accomplish this via a login script? Thanks!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you can write a script that does what you need. GP can run the script on each computer for you at logon.

Thanks. This works, but I would have liked for it to be in the favorites BAR, not just favorites menu. Not sure if that is even possible. Thanks!
