ms sql 2005 sp3 trying to install Management Studio

We have a new installation of SQL 2005. We installed sp3. Then we realized that only Server Management Studio **Express** got installed. So we need to install Management Studio (Full).

We uninstalled Management Studio Express. We attempted to install Management Studio (ie WorkStation Components) from MSSQL Install CD. We received an error about "Edition Change Check" and using the SKUUPGRADE=1 parameter.

So, we ran setup again, with SKUUPGRADE=1 (all caps) and the install crashes before finishing. The only message generated is "there was an unexpected failure during the setup wizard. you may review the setup logs and/or click the help button for more information." Of course, that was no help.

Is this a versioning issue? can we download workstation components for sp3 from somewhere? Or something else?

We figured it out. We needed to provided the second CD. (What, Microsoft can't explicitly ask for the 2nd cd now???)

thanks much
