Open backup exec 11d, click on Devices tab. Look for Backup-to-Disk Folders. Right click on it and select New BACKUP to disk folder. and browse or type in the path. Type in the max. size and other details.. Hope the above image helps.

you will need to have the agent installed on the remote server as well.

You DO NOT NEED the remote agent installed on the server hosting the share.
