giving a user permissions to change GAL and distribution lists exchange 2007
Hi Guys,
I have around 20 distribution lists and the GAL and i need to assign a user the rights to add and remove from all of these but i have read that adding the 'managed by' permission doesn't do this and that i have to run a shell line for each one to give them access. Is there any way i can add them to a group or something to allow them to change permissions for all in one go or do i need to do this manually and if so then how ?
Thanks

Assigning a user to be the manager in the Manage By setting as you mentioned will allow the user to make membership changes to the group through the Outlook email client.
