Does watching an ambedded YouTube video consume my bandwidth?

This may be a stupid question but if I embed a YouTube video on my web page, does it consume part of my bandwidth allowance when it is viewed or is it streamed directly from the YouTube servers to the client and therefore has no impact on my bandwidth consumption figures?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The video is streamed from YouTube not from your server.

Yes, you embed the code for the player in your website but the content is fetched from the YouTube Server.
