windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt

i only have the windows vista rc1 (beta) disk... and I did startup repair... works.. but doesnt make computer run

also windows vista rc1 disk said I have no restore backup points

ok try booting with this DVD and  where it says "Command prompt" try running this command

sfc /scannow

iam not sure its available   there but its for system file check

just guessing :)

did you try using safe mode options try booting in safe mode options and then try using sfc /scannow command
