how to get full screen view of dos app. using dosbox mb5

i am running an old dos program on win7 32bit machine using dosbox megabuild5. The application runs fine, I just want to be able to open the application window to full screen. How do I do this?

Does the Old Doc program support the resolution of your Full Screen? If not there will be blockiness and stretching that may be counter productive. Most Old DOS apps do not support resolutions above 1024x768, depending on the era some may even go up to 1280x1024. But if it's text based your options are even more limited.

But if you must, you have to edit the configfile for dosbox and set the options for fullscreen there.

Edit dosbox.conf in the application folder
under
[sdl]
add
fullscreen=true

If you also add

fullscreen=orginal
then you should limit the distortion due to your screen size and the size originally programmed for.

I am tending now to use VPC 2007 in Windows 7 for DOS applications (provided you have access to DOS 6.22 disks)
