AS2 *** Security Sandbox Violation ***

The file I am using is developed in CS3 / AS2. Everything was working great until I upgraded to a new machine. Both are PCs running XP SP3. Both have the same software.

The error I am getting is the following:
*** Security Sandbox Violation ***
Connection to http://staging.abc.com/IntegrationServices/Personalization.asmx?WSDL halted - not permitted from file:////abc.com/data/userdata/me/roundStaging129.swf

My publish settings are identical on both machines.

We do not have a crossdomain.xml file anywhere that I can tell, but that hasn't been an issue. I tested yesterday and all was fine. I am testing in a staging environment and production environment and neither is working from the new machine.

It is now solved - the path was different in the new machine versus the old - when the network admin updated the path, the files now work as expected.

Flash takes domain.com and subdomain.domain.com as two different domains where the sandbox violation kicks in...  So, I think the simplest solution, without going over the crossdomain.xml, would be moving the SWF into the staging.abc.com so that they are in the same domain...

I am getting this message when I am testing locally, before I upload to either the production or the staging server.

Its the same as above:

*** Security Sandbox Violation ***
Connection to http://staging.awardvision.com/IntegrationServices/Personalization.asmx?WSDL halted - not permitted from file:////awardgraphics.com/data/userdata/msukow/roundStaging129.swf

This time, I copy/pasted leaving the addresses exactly as is (I changed the urls above for security )

That's the same thing...  Do a quick test...  Post your SWF to the staging site and see if you get the error message...
