Image Folder Outside of ASP.NET Theme Folder

Hi there,

* I have a Theme folder named MyTheme.
* Inside that folder I have a skin file named MyTheme.skin.
* In that skin file I have a third party control that has an ImageUrl attribute.
* In the root of my application project I have an Assets folder with an Images folder where I keep the image.
* I need to keep all the images in a centralized location, namely the Assets folder for various reasons I can't get into. :)

So, it kinda looks like this:

Web
    App_Themes
        MyTheme
            MyTheme.skin
    Assets
        Images
            MyImage.png

In the skin file, in the control, how do I reference the image file?

<abc:Control runat="server" ImageUrl="" />

I can't figure it out.

Can one of you fine experts help me out?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi hehdaddy,

Providing the ImageUrl as follows will refer the MyImage.png
<abc:Control runat="server" ImageUrl="../../Assets/Images/MyImage.png" />

That worked fine when I did a test project. It still doesn't work in my app, but that is because of crappy Infragistics controls. You win the points. Thanks!
