Hi,

We have an Exchange 2003 Enterprise Server running under Windows 2003 OS. There are two Storage Groups in Exchange and one of them recently gave me an error of "Failed to create a new named property for database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (The name of the server) because the number of named properties reached the quota limit (16384)".

Will it solve the problem if I create another Storage Group since Enterprise edition can have 32 storage groups?

Please advice!

Thanks a lot!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes. It sounds like the mail store is over it's storage limit. What SP level is the server and exchange?
