Can't Import PST from Exmerge - File is too large

I receive an error when I try to run exmerge my PST file back into my mailbox.  The permissions are correct.  It appears that it is just an issue with the size of the PST.  It is just over 2 GB.  Is there any way to get around this and import my PST?

you cannot use exmerge to export/import pst > 2gb how this pst was created ?

you will need to split it into smaller psts or import it using outlook

I used exmerge to export it from Exchange 2003 with no problem.  Now the import function is not working due to the size.  I tried to import it directly into Outlook 2007 but I get an error saying the PST file is damaged or corrupt.

exmerge cannot export pst bigger than 2gb

you are getting the error when trying to open the PST from outlook ?

You can exmerge back by dividing the dates to get smaller size

As I said....

I exported the PST using Exmerge.

We rebuilt or server and reinstalled Exchange 2003.

I used Exmerge to bring everyone's mailboxes in.  They all worked but mine.

I try to use Exmerge to import mine and it fails.

I try to open or import the PST from within Outlook and I receive an error.

try to repair it using scanPST, run it on a COPY of the PST file, however I wouldn't put high hopes in it

It turns out the file is only 1.96 GB.

Used scanpst and no luck.  Tried to use Microsoft PST truncating software then scanpst and no luck.

To the point where I would pay for this to work!

Can Outlook even open the PST?

Do you stll have the exmerge log? have a look through it for errors when it was exmerging your mailbox.

Also do you still have the original PST that exmerge extracted?

with the PST crop tool, you might have to crop more data out to get it working:
"If the file does not open, discard the truncated .pst file, and repeat the process with the original .pst file. Truncate more data than in the first attempt, and try the process again."

I used the pst2gb tool to crop it down and it still fails.  I used Stellar Phoenix's PST Recovery demo and it gets everything.  It just costs $149 to be able to use your data!  That is the downfall.
