Clear a lot of entries from Outlook

I am trying to clear 25000+ calendar entries from Outlook.  I got bomb-out in the middle.

What is the proper way of doing that?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

outlook can only handle about 1000 at a time... 900 to be safe...

is this on an exchange server that you control?  you could run exmerge for just the calendar, based on date ranges, that would archive from your mailbox to a pst file.

you could also use the file > archive, function in outlook to do the same thing for just the calendar, based on dates.  that dumps it out to a different pst file and removes it from your outlook

I am not familiar with exmerge.  Is there an article that shows how to archive calendar into a pst file?

Thanks.

here's how to remove MESSAGES from mailboxes using exmerge, the steps are the same substituting 'calendar' though
