how to convert julian date to simpleDateFormat(dd-MM-yyyy) using  java.Please provide me a sample code.

If i pass julian Date , always i got the below output
 "01-01-1970"

you need to convert the julian to calendar and then pass it, check this example to convert julian to calendar,
