Have you performed the schema updates?
A good installation guide can be found here: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Installing-Exchange-2007-Part1.html
Do you have any version of Exchange installed in current Active Directory?

Have you run all the pre-requisites?

Please refer following articles,

demazter, I don't google to find answers. I prefer understading the error and root cause. All of the links I share, are in my bookmark/favorites!!
>>I don't google to find answers

I didn't suggest you did, I suggested you posted the exact same thing I did.  Which is a little impolite in my opinion.

ASKER

I have already looked at it..
I reach to the step of readiness checks, and this error ms is appear "the exchange organization does not support this version of exchange server " !!
Could you please paste setup progress log here?
What other exchange servers do you have?
Exchange 2003 must be in Native mode and have Service Pack 2 installed to co-exist with Exchange 2007
I need to mention that I tried to install Exchange 2010 but failed to bring it up. That means that AD schema was prepared for EX2010 installation....

Please remove Exchange organization name first from Configuration container - Services - Microsoft Exchange - "Org name" using ADSIEDIT and then try going ahead with Exchange 2007 installation.
Possibility some one might have tried to install Exchange 2010 server which may also upgraded the Schema..
Through ADSIEDIT.msc please chech the following attribute ms-Exch-Version-Pt under the Schema partition with the rangeupper value & if it is 11116 then it is Exchange 2007 (SP1), however if it is 14622 then it is Exchange 2007 (SP2) also Exchange 2010 installation was attempted....
Refer.. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/556086
Only use the ADSIEdit if you don't have any other Exchange in your domain
demazter,

sorry if you find this as copy paste. after getting notification from author, i replied back without refreshing.
If the Schema is already upgraded since Exchange 2010 was attempted then check if you are installing Exchange 2007 (SP2).. becos that has same schema version as Exchange 2010...
Vishal_breed > it's not a problem when it's only a few minutes when it is a few hours then it becomes a problem.

Author > you have 2 experts telling you the same thing.

Please can you confirm of you have any other exchange in your organistion or if the 2007 will be your first LIVE exchange server?  If this is the case please proceed with the ADSI Edit instructions provided by myself and Vishal_breed
I have an Exchange 2010 solution that need an Exchange 2007 HUB server for Notes migration with Quest Notes Migrator. When I try to install the Exchange software I get the same error message.

Is it possible to install en Exchange 2007 server in an Exchange 2010 environment? There has not been any Exchange organization in the solution earlier.
