Creating AD users in Perl

I have been trying to use the Win32::AD::User module. It depends on the Win32::OLE module. Seems as if I can't install and use that one on Debian(wrong OS). I guess Win32::OLE is for use in a Windows environment.

What modules out there can help me create AD users from a script running on a Linux machine? URL to guides are appreciated.

You can create users in AD from Perl using LDAP.

http://ldap.perl.org/

I see some snippets of code for this here:

As a note, you can not set the AD password without LDAPS.

Seems to work, but I am having some problems with the code. See: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Programming/Languages/Scripting/Perl/Q_25751903.html

Thanks! =)
