I'm not sure I understand your question.  Are you asking how your web application on  your Plesk server can use a MySQL database on another server?

CahitEyAuthor Commented:
1-> windows server (plesk)
2-> linux server (centoos)
3-> mysql server (centos)

this are my servers and i want to make it sth like this.
when s.b creates a db on plesk with mysql it will be created on 3rd server not on 1
i have do this on cpanel easily at the other side as i told cpanel uses this server for mysql too so there wont be any same named db, i need to make special prefix for db name

Log in to Plesk.  From the main Plesk page, click on "Server", then click on "Database Servers".  Click on "Add Server" to define the server you want to use.  Look at the preferences page for your special naming.

Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

I'm a little new to Plesk 9, so I may be missing something.  On my installation, I click on "Settings", then click "Database Hosting Preferences".  That screen is used to set the object name prefix.  Go up a level from there to get to the database servers screen.

i have two option under settings tab -> database preferences :
1)Select MS SQL WebAdmin
2)Database Hosting Preferences
nothing more

Steve BinkCommented:
Select #2.  You can set the object name prefix on that screen.  Go up a level from there to get to the database servers screen.

It looks like they left out a direct link to the database servers.

i have found this : (maybe sth. could be interested in with this)
If VZ MSDE template was installed after remote database servers were set up in Parallels Plesk Panel, working with remote database servers will be forbidden because VZ MSDE template switches the work mode from remote to local. To resolve this issue, you have to manually switch the work mode from local to remote.
but i do not know what is this :D

CahitEyAuthor Commented:
yesss :D but one last question should i change the prefix ?
0

Steve BinkCommented:
I do not believe you can change the prefix.  It looks like Plesk uses a naming system, if you select that option.
