Crystal Reports Runtime (CRRedist2008_x86) Deployment Through .net Code?

I have an application that can run an crystal report off a .net toolbar.  However in order to get reports to run off other machines I need to install the CRRedist2008_x86 file on that said machine.

Is there an effective way to add a "check" into my code an run this file if CRRedist2008_x86 is not already installed?

My first idea would be to look for a possible registry key,  If regKey Is Nothing Then execute file,  however I cannot seem to find a key related to it.

Anyone have any possible tips?  Keep in mind this will not be a published application,  it will be run off the bin application so updating is simpler.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. I don't know what gets installed or what registry keys get updated.

Do you have a clean machine you can test on?
Check the registry for

Business Objects under HKEY_Local Machine  Software
If it is there look at some of the entries

If it is not there then run the install to see what gets generated.

The MSI needs to be run as administrator otherwise the files won't get registered.
