Exchange Outlook Web Access converts .docx files to .zip files

When anyone in our domain sends a Word 2007 (.docx) file using Outlook Web Access the recipient receives a .zip file instead.  I can change the file extension of the file back to .docx and it will open correctly.  So far I have not been able to find a fix for this problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try sending the file as a .doc and not .docx. That may fix it.
