Iphone Exchange account verified but does not work

We recently moved the physical location of our exchange server to a new internal and external IP address. The move was a complete success with one exception... our IPhones no longer sync with the server.

I have just set up a new account on an iphone to sync with my email account on Exchange. The setup on the phone works perfectly and the phone verifies the account and allows you to select your syncing options. However, the account does not work. Calendar, contacts and email are not in the phone and I cannot send outgoing emails. Any thoughts?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you update all the A records in your external DNS with your new IP address?

You may have to remove any activesync accounts from the iPhone cycle the power and then setup you activesync account again and see if this helps.
Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

Also worth noting that mobile phone providers usually take about 24 hours before they update their cached records, so it may kick in again after a day has passed.

To verify, change the servername used on your account settings to your new IP address - it should sync happily.
