How tio replace the cmos battery on a Toshiba Satelite 2410 - 603


Im getting a time and date error.

Any idea what the part number of the battery is?
Any schematics of the laptop?

Hold on, I don't see 2410 - 603 in that listing but it is in this one and it's the same part number GDM710000003. So I would say it's the right one.

I have previously done warranty service for Toshiba and they never had laptop guides laying around anywhere... which is unfortunate for first-timers... but your going to need to open basically everything up, take the keyboard out, hard drive, cd-rom, battery, most likely you'll need to remove the LCD attachment as well and then split apart the bottom two layers of the laptop after taking out a bunch of screws. Sorry!
