I have a Windows Vista Ultimate pc that logs into a domain server.Just recently upon login i get an error "FileHelper.exe - Bad Image...".The details of the error says : C\Windows\system32\shell.dll is either not designed to run Windows or it contains an error...".I've tried copying a "GOOD" shell.dll from another pc but it didnt help.It comes up on startup of desktop screen but you hit OK and it goes away.Pc SEEMS to run fine.It only comes up when logging in and desktop starts. Please let me know what i can try.Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Boot with the Vista install DVD and let it run it's repair options.

Very sorry for the late reply. Was out of town and did not expect to be away so long.Found out that there was an entry in STARTUP for FileHelper.exe.Removed entry and deleted file and popup message disappeared.Thank you "rindi" for your reply.
