Can You Save A GIF Image In RGB Format in Photoshop?

Hello Experts,

Quick question, can you save an image with transparency as a GIF file AND in RGB color mode?  I've tried every way I know, and the file still ends up in Indexed color mode.

I am using Photoshop CS3.

Gif format doen't support RGB itself (the maximum numbers of colors in gif file is 256 (including transparent).
You should consider using the PNG format - it supports transparency & offers "RGB (True color) colorspace.
