I'm getting the following error on my first line of code below the error message...What am I doing wrong?


Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0401'
Expected end of statement


xmlhttp=new XMLHttpRequest();
xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")'

get rid of the trailing apostrophe and use a semicolon instead:
>>xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")'

should be:
xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP");
