I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please explain.  The VBA project is simply embedded in the "container" file.  For example, if an Excel file has a VBA project, that VBA project is simply saved as part of the file, rather than as a separate file until itself...

I can not remember the password to my  VBA project, so I want to use a program to crack it.  I need to tell the program where it is.

With respect, and while I am not accusing you of anything, because I have no idea whether or not you are "authorized" to see that code, EE does not allow active assistance in hacking passwords to VBA projects.

All I will do is to say that a simple Google search will turn up a great many low-cost utilities that will make short work of any VBA project password.

As matthewspatrick said, all the vba projects will be embedded inside office documents. You cannot individually point to the project. Could you please let us know what tool are you using so that we will check whether we can help you?
