x4000 HP  raid controller question

I bought a used X4000 machine and it has only 73 GB scsi and I need to buy a raid controller card and need to buy another 73 GB to setup raid1.

What kind of scsi controller I need to buy? Is it depend on the drive or motherboard ?

Well according to this link, HP supports the Adaptec 2100S RAID natively on this machine.  Better get the HP part version which is A8031A.
