Using RemoteApp Programs in Windows 2008

I have a Windows 2008R2 server and have installed Remote Desktop Services on it.
I can create the RemoteApp programs and make them available to clients but when you try and run them it prompts for a username and password to log in the host server.
If I enter my log in details the app runs fine but everything I've read and all the demos I've seen say that it should be completely seamless to the client.
I've given the appropriate access to all the groups. I've updated the RDP clients. I've turned on CredSSP.
None of it has worked.
The client OS is XP SP3.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to actually enable Single Sign On for your domain-joined clients. The Remote Desktop team have a great blog post at http://blogs.msdn.com/rds/archive/2007/04/19/how-to-enable-single-sign-on-for-my-terminal-server-connections.aspx which details exactly how to do this.

Remember that if your machines are not domain-joined, Single Sign On isn't going to work.
