How to insert frames in .hta file?

Dear Experts
I have a Demo which has
html index file which has frames.Left frame has menu / contents and right frame displays the indexed content. If I convert this index file to hta extension, it does not support frames and clicked content opens in another window.
I want  to open the demo in web-browser without address-bar,tolbar, etc.
Please help

To remove toolbars etc try
<javascript>

window.open("some url", "mainWin","toolbar=0,location=0,directories=0,status=0,menubar=0,scrollbars=0,resizable=1,width=1011,height=710");
</javascript>

Use this code in your tour.hta file.  Simply adding  application="yes"  to each frame should make it open them inside the hta instead of a new window.
<html>
<head><title>Tour</title>

</head>

<frameset cols=170,* border=1 frameBorder=1 frameSpacing=1>
<frame src=menu.html name="left" Resize=auto application="yes">
<frame src=hi.html name="tgt" Resize=auto application="yes">

</frameset>
< body >
</body>
</html>

No problem.  Did it fix your problem?  If so, can you close the question?

Dear TakedaT

Yes it did fix the problem. Am I allowed to ask more here.
I have a page.html webpage without frames.When i change it to page.hta I see complete address / location on the titlebar of hta page. I want to see only title and not the path.
How to replace the icon on hta titlebar or make it disappear

With Best Regards

Dear TakedaT
I got answer to first part of above question by putting title tag inside <head> </head>. The problem remains is how to replace the icon on hta page titlebar.
I am looking forward to your repy

Generally, you should ask all parts to your question in the original question.  But here is what you need.  Drop your .ico file in the directory with the .hta file and add the following code changing line 5 to reflect what the filename is.
<html>
<head><title>Tour</title>
<HTA:APPLICATION ID="oHTA"
    APPLICATIONNAME="myApp"
    ICON="youricon.ico"
   >
</head>

<frameset cols=170,* border=1 frameBorder=1 frameSpacing=1>
<frame src=menu.html name="left" Resize=auto application="yes">
<frame src=hi.html name="tgt" Resize=auto application="yes">

</frameset>
<body>
</body>
</html>
