How do I find the RGB color using MSPaint 6.1 Windows 7?

I need to get the RGB values for an existing color image. In the past I have copied that image into MSPaint, and used the Edit Color (I thought) to generate the exact RGB for that particular color. But now can bnot make that work.

Could someone please tel me how to do this? I am in the midst of trying to figure out why my C# WinForms application does not always use White when I am setting it to do so. I need those RGB colors to be sure my eyes are not playing tricks on me.

Thanks,

Hi, again, there is a good guide here:

http://www.bloggerguide.lk/2008/02/howto-find-rgb-values-of-color.html

I hope the color change helped. The Color.Control is really nearly white, sometimes I'm not sure myself.. but you can check it in Visual Studio form editor by clicking on the component and checking it's property BackColor directly to be sure (to show the properties press F4 in VS).

Thanks for the link.

I forgot to use the Color Picker tool. That's the trick.

Now, I see my dialog is 160, 0, 240 which is the same as other clearly white background.

Maybe I was going color blind...

Thanks,
