"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can used a free program like WebcamXP,  which is compatible with this model of camera.

I need to pull straight from the camera with http. How can I make straight link to the camera and only display the picture or video from it ?

You should be able to do this by pointing this camera address to a dynamic dns,  this will give you the ability to have a direct link and make it accessible from any browser when entering that dns name.

webcamxp is also browser based as far as the client side view

WebcamXP tries the link http://ip_address/video.cgi  when tuned into CIC-901W but this is not right link.
I want to get the data by pulling it with http://ip_address/somfile.xxx

If webcamxp does not suite your needs,  the only other possible option that I can think of would be for you to open up ports to your cam,  and setup port forwarding with a dynamic dns.  that way when someone goes to your dns address like http://yourwebcam.noip.com it will be forwarded to the address of your cam through the browser (given that there will even be a stream possible over the browser without their software)
