Migrating clients from SAV 10.0 to SEP 11.0.5

We are running SAV 10.0 on Windows XP workstation.  We installed SEP 11.0.5.
We use Migration and deployment tools of SEP to migrate policies from SAV 10.0 to SEP 11.0.5.
I have about 20 client computers in current SAV 10.0 environment.
What is the best way to move actual computers (Clients) from SAV to SEPM?
Do we just push SEP Client from SEPM console? Will that uninstall old SAV client and install SEP Client?

Please have a read of the following Symantec Article:

You should be able to simply upgrade to SEP from SAV 10 seamlessly.  You can push the packages from the server or pull them from the client - either way works well.
Sometimes the clients don't play ball, but there are ways around the ones that don't play nicely.  Shout if you get stuck.

Will You Be GDPR Compliant by 5/28/2018?

GDPR? That's a regulation for the European Union. But, if you collect data from customers or employees within the EU, then you need to know about GDPR and make sure your organization is compliant by May 2018. Check out our preparation checklist to make sure you're on track today!

Hello alanhardisty,
I have checked linked you suggested. However I am still not sure how to export actual computer account that are listed in SAV 10 to SEPM 11. I got both SAV 10 and SEPM 11 running on XP PC. Old version SAV 10 has 20 computer accounts that I can manage from SAV Console, but I don’t know how can I migrate/move/import these client to SEPM 11? My idea is once I can do that, I can push SEP client and uninstall SAV 10. I hope this make sense.

Why are you wanting to export the computer accounts?  SEP will manage the computers it pushes out automatically.  During the Push of SEP to the clients, it will uninsatll SAV and management will automatically happen.

Please explain what "Not Needed" means.  Would be nice to know a little bit more about why you are now closing this question down.
Thanks
Alan
